PUBLICATIONS
Printing and Assembly
The printing process has always been a big interest to me. Seeing the final printed product after hours of designing is always so satisfying. The assembly phase for me is just as important as designing and is often overlooked. Publications require assembly, it’s an important step of the process. I wanted to show off my passion for the print process by showcasing my favorite printed projects.
A Brief History of Printing
I created this book to showcase the history of one of my favorite parts of the design process, printing. For the visuals of the book, I researched the themes of surrealist art and paintings, then 3D modeled the imagery and edited it to look surrealist. There are different printing processes discussed in this book, with each image showcasing the method in a surrealist style.

It only makes me ANXIOUS
It only makes me ANXIOUS is a collage-style publication using visual language to convey the feeling of isolation that is often associated with social anxiety. The images were collected from various books, magazines, and clip art books and collaged together to create a narrative. I compared the feeling of isolation with the subject of animals, which society often mistreats and takes advantage of.

ADBUSTERS: States of Wonder
For this publication, I emulated the style of an issue of Adbusters. The text poses the question of whether graphic design is a form of art or not, and contains themes of anti-establishmentism. For this reason, I created visuals that are unconventional and messy. The computer theming represents the fact that modern design is often constrained to digital processes, while the blobs represent a lack of personality within the design field, often following conventional rules.
